AMassive Environmental Clean-up Campaign in Itahari

With the slogan “Clean Eastern Province,Clean Nepal”, a massive environmental clean-up activity was carried out thecity of Itahari.

The World Mission Society Church of God inthe province of Eastern Nepal hosted a massive environmental clean-up campaignin Itahari for celebrating the sacred birth of Christ Ahnsahnghong. This eventwas held to remind that it’s the role of advanced citizens to clean up theneighborhood in which we are living with a united mind.

 Around 700 members of the Church of God inthe five major cities such as Birtamod, Damak, Biratnagar, Dahran and Itaharijoined this event and started the clean-up activity from the Itahari ElementarySchool playground.

 Youth members with brooms and bags wrappedup the activity by moving all trash collected to a specified place. Theycollected all trash in the city of Itahari and encouraged the public toparticipate in the environmental clean-up campaign.

For celebrating the sacred birth of ChristAhnsahnghong, they held this event in Itahari which is transforming into abeautiful city, to emphasize the importance of environmental clean-up and toattract the attention of the citizens.
